Ok, here goes a silly issue: The mat-carpet under my feet keeps moving to the front side all the time and when I am driving I have to constantly keep pulling it back under my feet.

It still has the velcro surface on its underside but the matching opposite velcro surface (which I think is supposed to be on the top side of the main carpet of the car) is not there. Is this an extra, or it should have been there (I bought the car a month ago, second hand).

Any ideas on how to solve this?

THX

Ibro,

My factory mats came with a set of 4 large plastic screws. These are intended to be screwed down into the carpet below the velcro patches on the back side of the mats. The head of these screws are about 3 inches in diameter and are rigid across the top, similar to the stiffer side of a strip of velcro but much more rigid. I'm not sure if they are available as a separate item. Your local Porsche Dealer should be able to help.

People either do not screw them in because they do not want to put holes in the carpet, or if you buy them from the parts department they take the mats out of the box and throw the box away not knowing the 4 pads are in the box.

Can you buy just the pads somewhere?

You can also get a piece of non slip mesh matt avail at grocery store or home depot. It's a couple bucks for a yard which is more than enough to hold the carpet.

Thanks for the answers and the pic.

I don't think I ever saw the pads in my car. I' ll call the local dealer and ask if they come as a separate item.

THX again,

Ibro
