I am getting ready to change plugs and coil packs but with the wider newer type coil packs the protective metal cove requires longer bolts.  What size should I look for?

Hi Shrek,

It was my experience that new bolts came with the updated coil packs.  Size might be a mute point unless you received some and it didn't come with it.

I was referring to the hardware holding the metal cover that goes over the coil packs.  With the increased coil pack height the original hardware no longer fits, they need to be longer.

I bought SS studs of the appropriate length, used two nuts on the studs to move the heat shields out, and then used a nut and washer to secure the heat shields. Makes it so much easier to remove and install the heat shields. If I remember correctly, my goal was to achieve 6-7mm of spacing.
