Hi all! really happy to be joining this community!

Recently picked up a new to me 1997 Boxster in Glacier White over Boxster Red. The previous owner had a number of pieces and parts in the frunk that were ‘in the way’ of what needed to be accessed for other maintenance.

Question is, what the heck are these and where do the go or come from? I’d like to put things back to how they ‘should be’. Cheers!

These flaps are on the hinge mechanism, left and right,of the clamshell to protect the convertible top from friction damage when driving top down.

Many thanks for solving the mystery! Put them back and one more thing crossed off the list!
