Hi,

I am a new 2000 986 owner. I was wondering if there was any way to get a list of the options that the car originally shipped with? Basically, can I reproduce the window sticker for the car? Obviously, I have the VIN.

TIA,

Jon

If your car is a US/Canada car and you want an official list then you can order a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The cost id about $95 as I recall but they will send you an official statement of what factory options came with the car. Here is a link to download the order form PCNA Certificate of Authenticity

Or, you could look for a sticker under your front (should also be one in the original owners manual) that has a list of codes on it (i.e. 030, 696, etc.etc.). Post those codes here and we can help decipher them.

Or just call the Porsche 1-800 number and give them the VIN and they will tell you the option codes. I have done this several times in the past.
