Thanks.  Added fluid to plastic reservoir also. Top moves partially by not all the way.  I have to help the top open and close by hand while holding the open close button.  When opening partially, if I don't hold the top,  the back window slams down.  Also,  after adding fluid and opening closing this way,  the fluid in the reservoir goes down a little.  Any suggestions?

Assuming you used the correct fluid (there is only one), your system may have internal hydraulic fluid leaks, which keeps it from working properly that needs to be repaired.

The seals inside the system can leak and you will never see anything, but the system will not work properly.

To add to what JFP has already said - you may need to run the convertible top calibration.

It takes about 3 or 4 minutes and can be done with a Porsche PIWIS or Durametric software.
