I’ve had some issues with my 2005 987.1. Whenever I quickly press the throttle, or rev match down shift, the engine misfires / stutters. My short term fuel trims are normal at idle, maybe a little lean, but spike to 25+ under high rpm acceleration. I’ve already replaced my plugs so I don’t think it’s that. I’ve replaced several vacuum related pipes and tubes so until I get a proper smoke test I won’t know if it’s a vacuum leak. I have two codes, one for a very small evap leak and the other for warmup catalyst below efficiency threshold bank 2. The engine seems to have noticeably less power at low rpms. Any idea what could be the cause of this?

Have you found any remedies to this issue??
my 2006 cayman s 987.1 has the exact same issue and have not been able to find the main issue. Any information helps!

I am surprised to hear that you changed the plugs but not the ignition coils. Is that true? Most ignition misfires/stutters come from faulty ignition coils as they are prone to go bad over time.  Plugs are almost never the culprit.
