Hi everyone! that’s my first post and I’m really glad to join this select group of people. I’ve bought this 2014 Cayenne with 50k miles base model on an auction, came from a flood. I could manage to clean the engine put new battery, spark plugs, coils , oil , filters and it is running good, some misfires but I’ll address this later. My main problem is that I just can’t engage any gear, the shift lever is stuck on P and on the dashboard says N and ask to put on P , but actually the car is on N because I'm able to move it. I have used an Autel MaxiCOM 808bt to read the fault codes and mainly Im getting codes from the gateway module, passenger seat module, passenger door module and airbag module , no codes from TCM , got stuck with this issue and don’t know what to do. Any ideas? Thanks!

This car could end up being a lot of work.

Flood or fire cars will have corrosion issues ongoing - likely for the rest of their life.

I did one fire damaged car (dash fire) and we replaced the complete wiring harness before the car was reliable again. About 45 hours work.
