Hi Folks - so it seems that my spoiler on my 2001 Boxster S has somehow moved a fraction of an inch to the right, so that when I close the spoiler it hangs up on the edge of the passenger-side tail light lens. The lenses look like they're both in the correct position, so it seems like it must be the spoiler, but it appears to be tightly attached with no side-to-side play in it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers!

The spoiler cover is held in place by three small plastic push pins:

Push the pins out with a small straight punch or the end of a small drill bit and they will fall into the spoiler trim cover. They are reusable, so recover them. Then you can lift the top cover off the spoiler. Then check the 2 Allen bolts that hold the metal body in place.  You need to check that the metal body for the spoiler is centered is the opening an/or loose in some way.

Thanks JFP, I figured I'd have to take it apart to fix it. I appreciate your info. I watched a video and those pins look tough to unseat!
