2006 Cayenne Fuelpump doesnt work

Hi,

i have a 2006 Cayenne. the cayenne runs dry. after i filled the tank again with gasoline the car doesnt start. i checked both connetctors on the right and left side on the pumps. by starting the engine or doing the ignition on i have 0V on the connector so i was thinking both relay are damage. i change the relays but still don't get 12V on the connector. i open the old relays put the relays back in and press the relays manually  and both pumps are running.i checked also all fuses and they are OK. the relays have 5 pins

 

Pin 1 color code red had 12V

Pin 2 color code green blue had 0V this cable goes to the onboard network J13 and from there to the ECU it had also 0V by starting the engine

Pin 3 color code red is a thick cable termial 30 had 12V

Pin 4 is the switch and is not connected to the fuse box

Pin 5 red/black is the cable what runs to the fuelpump and had only then 12V if i press it manually.

 

can it be that the shutdown valve make the problems? where is the Valve located??? can be also the power supply relay be damaged and if so where is that located?

 

i dont have the porsche diagnostic tool so i have to find the problem old school

If you ran the car out of fuel, the pump may be bad now. this is pretty common.

 

Checking for fuel pump power with just the ignition on will not give you what you want. You have to check wiring diagram if your not getting power. Usually the DME commands the fuel pump to turn on but again will have to check this. for xample some model run the pump when you open the door to prime the system before starting etc. during key on situation the pump will usually not run. it would be better to check while cranking.

i have only on Pin 2 no power but i don't know if there should be power??? if i put 12V to the Pump the pump runs but if i check in the front the pressure by the rails there is no fuel comming out. so i have here an electric problem and a mechanical. but i have first to find out where my electrical problem is

anyone know where the shut off valve is by the 2006 cayenne 4.5 V8 without turbo??
