I am looking for a VIN decoder capable of identifying my 2000 996 factory options.  I have already tried a few without success.  Does anybody have one that works?

Look up at the top of this page.  Click on Documents.  There is a VIN lookup and Option Code decoder.

I have an '05 Boxster.  The engine was changed during the '05 model year, how can I confirm exactly which engine this car was manufactured with?  

VIN decoders don't seem to have this info.
