SO - looking at doing ATF Fluid and filter change

Porsche ATF Fluid is too costly when there’s others in the market - anyone have any experience and advice with the following when doing the ATF change:

Meyle ATF III H 0140192300

Febi 101161 ATF

Mobil ATF 3309

All meet the following specs - which would you recommend / use?

  • Specifications and Manufacturer Approvals
    • Audi G-055-025-A2
    • Ford WSS-M2C924-A
    • Lexus JWS 3309/Type T-IV
    • Porsche JWS 3309/Type T-IV
    • Saturn GM9986195
    • Toyota JW 3309/Type T-IV
    • Volkswagen G-055-025-A2

I think it is still best to stick with approved ATF oils. Esso should be available at much lower than Porsche OPC costs.

Mobil ATF 3309 is recommended for use in transmissions requiring fluids of JWS 3309 or GM 9986195 quality levels.

AISIN Automatic Transmission Fluid Type T-IV (ATF-0T4) JWS3309 (AISIN is the OEM transmission for Cayenne)

Volkswagen and Volvo also used these transmissions so they should sell the ATF also.

Ok so the MOBIL ATF 3309 should be ok correct??

and your saying AISIN also as that was the original Fluid in the Cayenne transmission?

Just now, Loren said:

Yes, AISIN is the manufacturer of the Cayenne transmission and the original fluid.

Ok cool

and one last thing MOBIL IS Esso in the UK so the MOBIL ATF 3309 should be good correct??
