I have started to tackle some PM tasks on the Cayenne which leads me to the question above.

Going to be cleaning the sunroof rails (not seals) and re-lubricating them to keep the sunroof operating smoothly for as long as possible , so what are people using to re-grease the clean rails as the proper Porsche part number is discontinued and a Google search returned allsorts of various snakeoil lotions and potions.

Some say grease / some say PTFE spray / some say  leave them dry - the workshop manual states to use grease and where to use it.

Was looking at the VW / Audi stuff  as that seems readily available ??

Thanks in advance.

Kenny
