Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Recommended Posts

I think it's my turn to join this conversation.  I just changed the battery in my 1999 Porsche Boxster and, of course, now it's calling for a radio code.  Mine is a CDR-220, Model 4362, Serial No W5002342.

Any chance of finding a code for this one?

Thanks!

Rob

Thank you, Loren, I will be giving that a try.  I, unfortunately, have to wait until the "WAIT" light clears to do it...that's what happens when one gets impatient for a solution.

I will report back!

Hi Loren: code 9595 did not work. The radio never left the wait mode.

Loren,

The code worked!  Thank you!  I finally got the radio to quit saying "wait" and go to "code" and now it works!!!  And then the radio came on with Fleetwood Mac, Don't Stop Believing!
