Hello,

Just bought this 986 Boxster, I found a radio card with the serial, but no code.

Model: CDR-210
Serial: T1007413

Card also has CDC-3 written before the serial, not sure what that's for just in case!

Thank you!

CDC-3 is the 6 disc cd-changer in the front trunk.

Old Porsche guy - new member.

Just got a new to me 1998 993 Cab and the radio is showing CODE due to

a battery replacement by the prior owner.

I have read this entire thread (and a few on other Forums) and found some instructions on retrieving the radio

code for the CDR 210 radio but no videos or pictures or  button location and definitions

such as TONE and TP.

Do I need a magnifying glass for these old eyes?

Are special tools required to slip the radio out of the dash and look for the number?

Anyone got a PDF file for this radio or a drivers manual ?

Doesn't seem to be much posted on uTube.

thanks in advance..

Please ignore prior questions about CDR 210 button definitions.

I was able to finally locate a download PDF (attached).

Hope this helps someone in the future.

I haven't tried the code reset procedure yet - pages 9 thru 11.
