Thanks very much, I haven’t been able to try the code as the radio seems to be stuck on “wait”.

It has been better than 24hrs since “wait” appeared.

Hi,

My wife bought me a 996 911 Carrera for my 50th birthday...she's a keeper! Had some work done and discovered I need the code to get the stereo working.

It worked.

 

My brother is driving a 1999 986 he just bought in Seattle to Austin (stopping at Bonneville Speed Week along the way).  Radio was locked out, but he just changed oil, hopped in and started driving anyway.

 

He's in eastern New Mexico and finally ran out of nice scenery -- after 1,700 miles -- to keep him occupied, so getting the code for him is a sanity saver.

Unfortunately the battery for my 2000 996 was disconnected and I am now looking for the 4 digit code for my radio.  It would be great if someone could help me out.  The particulars
