Dears,

this is a treasure!!!

just bought today my first Porsche, a 996.2 c2 coupe.

the car was semi-abandoned as it only has 40k miles, but the previous owner had nothing from the initial documents including the radio code.

i tried three times to put a random one..... and now I only see a “Wait” message.

any ideas please?

it s a CDR22 , type 4467 and s/n 25007897

thank you I’m advance!

I have a 2002 Boxster. Had to tighten fuel tank fuel gauge. Did not know that I would have to put in code for radio after disconnecting battery. It is a Becky 1 CDR220, SN# 15007270. Does anyone have the code?

What is the trick on the radio when it says wait. When it first came on I tried different codes and I guess it locked. Waited hours, even unhooked battery for hours, still says "wait".

I put the key in and left the radio on for over an hour, code screen popped up. The code you gave me worked. Wrote it down on a piece of paper and put it with my registration. Thank you very much! So much security for a CD-ROM player! Oh did I mention, who uses CD-ROM's anymore? Just us old folks that like to listen to 80's songs like "99 Red Balloons"!

Porsche 911 turbo 2002

Becker

Model - BE 2580

Serial - 15096667

You did not read the Lost Radio Code FAQ...

"Can you give me a code for my PCM?
These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code, and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested.
Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."
