Hi Loren.

Just bought a used 996 '98 - missing radio code.
CDR-220
Type: 4462
Serial: W5002264 or WS002264, not sure S or 5

Porsche in Iceland gave me code: 5106 when I gave them the VIM. It didn't work.

Thanks in advance.

Please help me get my CR1 radio code .

SN is POCR-1M0811791

           V10811791

Thanks

I believe that is a Blaupunkt or Alpine radio and my program only works with Becker/Porsche radios - as stated in the Lost Radio Code FAQ.

Wow - still didn't follow the Lost Radio Code FAQ to "display" your radio serial number. The printed tag will be wrong if the radio has ever been repaired. WHen Becker repairs the radio it gets a new serial number - but does not get a new sticker. Hence the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get the current serial number.

Well, I hope your radio has not been repaired and the sticker is correct.

Thanks Loren for your direction & assistance. I did verify the SN which did match the sticker and your code did the trick. Now I need to study the plethora of functions on this radio which far exceed my typical On, Tune, and Off!

Best regards

Although you have a different radio, I’m sure the process is the same. I posted the same request and received a response from Loren who steered me in the right direction (determining the correct radio serial number) and provided me with a code that unlocked my radio. Not sure how to get you his contact info but there are plenty of his comments in the porsche radio forum so I would search there as well as posting your request. Good luck.
