You did not read the

"Can you give me a code for my PCM?
These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code, and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested.
Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."

Hi Loren. Sorry about that, i think i read that bit after i posted.

Apparently retrieving the code from a PCM1 is no trivial task. After paying the dealer a visit, they provided me with the codes that corresponded to the VIN, which didn't work. So then they suggested calling Porsche NA (1-800-Porsche) which they turned me back around and told me to talk to the dealer. Called dealer again and got to emailing with a tech. He tried to email porsche NA directly with my radio serial number. Porsche NA came back and told him that they needed more info, so now i have to physically drop the car off at the service center so the tech can hook the radio up to their diagnostic testing hardware and pull more information from it.

The one thing the tech did tell me is that, if you have a PCM and you take it to your nearest Porsche dealer, and they don't know what to do, he said to tell them the following:

Submit a PTEC - TLAR for filing issues, and PQIS job and run VAL attached to PTEC request.

Im not sure what any of the above means but for those of you who are struggling with your dealer in retrieving a PCM1 code, tell them to try that.

Yes i did i used the 8 and 0 simultaneously and got my Sireal NO

Then it is likely that your radio has been repaired by someone other than Becker. Doing so changes the serial number and without them updating it properly I do not know any way to get the "unknown" serial number. Sorry.
