Try 2726

When I was discussing this issue with the local Porsche dealer service manager, he looked up the model and SN and suggested 2796.  Which ever one works, how do you test this without disconnecting the battery?  Is there a menu choice on the radio where you are prompted for the code, when it is fully operational already?

Hi - I could also use help.  Just had my alternator replaced and now need my radio code.  Got my 2001 Boxter a couple months ago but no books or radio card with the car.

Serial # Y5024058

Type 4362

24/99

Also, when turning on the radio after the PORSCHE goes away it says 'wait' - At least that's what it did yesterday after the car was started a couple times.  I don't see where I would enter a code?  Does that mean my mechanic tried to enter a code and it locked up? (EDIT: - Just read you have to wait 30 mins)

And advise would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Rob
