Hi, just replaced battery in my 98 boxster but now radio asking for a code. It's a cdr210, Becker r3297 serial 208012515382076235. Any help would so greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance !

That is the longest serial number I have ever seen on a Becker/Porsche radio - I hope it is correct.

Loren, thanks for your quick response. I put the code 4828 in and clicked the down arrow and now it is just displaying a WAIT message. Does that tell you anything? To confirm, I got the serial number offf the back of the faceplate. Is this the correct place to look?

Seems like the radio now won't say anything besides "wait". I don't mind waiting but wondering which direction this is goin in...

Thank you, Loren. I apologize for the rookie mistake! Read it the first time but not far enough, my bad...

 

Once the "wait" is over I will re-attempt this procedure. Thanks again for your assistance

Need help with a lost code. 

 

Model - 6624

ser# - 15004332

 

On a side note, I have an  02 S with the Bose stereo and the CR220 is not working but we swapped it out with a CDR220 and now no sound comes out. Are they not compatible?

Had to replace my fuel sender unit so the battery had to be disconnected. Of coarse code is nowhere to be found.

I have a 2000 boxster that needed the airbag/horn bushings beefed up which is now great but radio codes lost. 

It's a type 4462 ser# Y5039259  24/99.
