My radio is a CR 220 in a 2001 Porsche Turbo and when I enter the code I have the first 3 numbers go in and when I enter the 4th it stops and the WAIT sign comes up after the first try = not after 4

I think the serial number is 15002835 as I found it by pushing the TP button etc

Could you please see if the code is 1068 and why don't I get 3 tries to enter the code?
Do you still have to wait an hour if you disconnect the battery .?

Love these cars don't you ??

You likely got the wait because one of the first 3 numbers was wrong.

Recently purchased a 2001 Boxster S with non-operating radio. Seller had no idea what the code was; I reside over two hours from the nearest Porsche dealer. Any ideas what the code might be?

Porsche CR220

Model BE4362

Serial # 15030837

Thank you for any help you might provide me! PCA member; originally joined in March of 1967

I'm sorry to bug you about this, but I couldn't find an easy way to get this myself.

I have a 97 Boxster with a CDR 210 radio, SN V5010047. Previous owner put a crappy radio in and while I prefer to listen to the car, I do appreciate a working radio.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could get the code for me.

Thank you

Jim
