You should always use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ as the stickers can be wrong if the radio has ever been repaired. So the most reliable way to get your radio serial number is to use the procedure so that it is displayed on the radio.

 

If your radio has not been repaired then this should work - try 9854

Hi Porsche lovers ,ok yeah got my Porsche delivered from another country ...battery gone empty ,now need the code..

So, I am getting desperate. I read the FAQ re: radio codes and it didn't say anything about the CD-2 radio that came with the 1991 964 C2 Cab I recently purchased.

Just in case the code can be retrieved the badly worn #'s on the back are: S/N0 PO CD-2 A 06 14728 and below that # is B 0 06 14728B

 

I have called a few dealers with no luck!

 

What else can I do?
