While I was getting info. I entered a code that put radio display to WAIT. Now it will not allow me to enter new code. What now?

I have a CDR-22. When I turn the knob, it says:

Type 4467, then I turn again,

Seri W50OA A6 (I think the first 0 is a zero, because it looks a bit like this:Ø.

Then it says 02/99

Radio serial numbers only have a letter at the start of the serial number - so that is not a valid serial number.

Hi Loren,

 

New 1999 996 owner here, changed the steering wheel for the optionnal "Sport Design" wheel. Disconnected the battery in the process & now the radio is asking for the code... Radio is CR-220. Type is 4362, serial number WS002622 01/99. Sincere thanks for the help & for making this community what it is. :)
