Loren,

Model 3297, serial# W5024235, not sure if this thread is active after what I read in FAQs but I followed the link here.

Thanks!

Justin

What is the model name/number on the faceplate of the radio?

Have a 1999 Boxster. Had to replace the battery the other day. Need the unlock code for the CDR-220. The serial# is X5017740.

Thanks!

Loren,

Sorry if there are multiple posts, I'm a little confused about the proper navigation of the forum. Model 3297, Serial # W5024235, as requested the face plate reads CDR-210, also Becker seems important to say.

Respectfully,

Justin

You have posted 3 times with two different serial numbers and still no model name (on the front of the radio).

No radio model - no code -- just that simple.

Tried it, but it did not work. Entered the code and then the asterisks just came back. Is there a button that needs to be pressed after entering the code (the manual does not say so)?

Thanks for helping!

No, just entering the code should start the radio working on a CDR-220.

Did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get your serial number?

If not, then please read that and follow the procedure and re-post the correct serial number here.

Hi Loren. Yes, we did use the procedure from the FAQ to get the serial number. Thanks for the help.

The last code didn't work... 8792. Tried about 30 variations until I got the wait screen. Not sure if the photo is flipped but I'm on my phone and can't fix it. It's the bar code on the back of the face plate.

Respectfully

Justin
