The method mentioned in the link is what I used to get that serial number. I confirmed X5029187 is the correct number. Any suggestions with how I can acquire the code? Will I need to go to the manufacturer?

Thanks

Sorry - when it come back as invalid S/N - there is nothing I can do.

You will need to contact Becker Autosound in your country.

I did contact Becker Autosound in New Jersey and they were able to provide me the code, at a price of course.

Thanks for your efforts!

THANKS LOREN, YOU GIVE GOOD RADIO. WORKED LIKE A CHARM. I KEPT THE CODE CARD IN MY WALLET FOR 15 YEARS, AND NEVER ONCE REFERRED TO IT. I FILED IT WITH IMPORTANT CAR DOCS WHICH ARE OUT OF REACH AT THE MOMENT, SO YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY! IF I MAY ASK A QUESTION, WHAT IS ( GAL 1 ) IN THE TP INFO SEQUENCE? AND IS THE (48/98) THE 48TH CAR MADE IN 1998? THANKS AGAIN.

Hello ,

I need the code for a1999 996 Carrera 4.

It´s an PCM Becker : Typ Idis, Modell 2580 Serial Nr. 15059254.

Can you help me ???

Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ

"Can you give me a code for my PCM?

These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM?s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested.

Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."
