Hi there - first time Porsche owner here - just bought a 2000 911 996.

New battery fitted but lost radio code!

It's a CDR 220 - followed the instructions above and recovered the serial number below

Hello, I´m new to this forum, I lost my Radio Code, and the Mexican dealership are charging an arm to get the code

Had to reset the power (battery) on my car. Please help with radio. The local dealer wanted me to bring it in and pay a $150 charge. Thanks!!

Replaced the regulator on the alternator, reconnected battery now need radio code.

I tried the VIN at the dealer and they gave me '6565' which didn't work, so presume radio has been changed at some point.

Turns out I had the right code the whole time and didn't know it. Now I know what is scribbled in the radio manual! :D
