Did you get the serial number per the FAQ?

If not then that is likely why it did not work.

Yes, I read the FAQ. I did not want to waste your time. I just pulled the radio and on the side the SN is X5023195.

Worked fine! ty!....It worked AFTER I realized that I need to hit the "up arrow" which is the Seek button, and NOT the round button marked with an S........I don't use the radio much...like the sound of the exhause system much better...lol
