Ok, just a small correction,

CDR220

4462

15008570

(was able to put the new battery in without disconnecting everything by using the battery charger trick someone else mentioned, thou still need a code to do the rear speaker upgrade).

Thanks

I tried those codes, but neither one worked. I bought the radio used and the guy told me he had the code. I suppose it could have come from a different year (he has a 99).

Model is BE 4462

Serial no. X5023485

Thanks for the help and quick replies!

You can go the original number (4814) and add or subject by 2. Sometimes that works - sometimes you have to contact a dealer or Becker.

Hi.. I recently purchased a 2001 Boxter. 5 speed with the becker cdr 220 radio and I can't find the radio code card with my owners manual give to me.. Since I am now the 4th owner.. Someone must have tossed it away..

I am planning on removing the head unit to install an MP3 cable from Becker and I know that if the radio is accidentally unplugged it will no longer work. I looked up the serial number using the Becker 1 display prompt on the unit and it is CDP2081 Your help is greatly appreciated. Harry
