Just bought a 95 993 and the radio says code. The battery has been left dead. I have no code for seller has no code to CR1

Did you read my last reply - I can not help you with a CR1. These were Alpine radios and the later radios were Becker. I only have codes for Becker radios... sorry.

@Loren - I have a 2005 997.1 C2S with the Bose stereo. If I disconnect the battery for an extended period, will I need a radio security code to able to use the radio after I reconnect a new battery?

No, you only need to a PIWIS if you change radios.

I'm desperately trying to find my radio code. I've called the dealer twice and they keep saying they'll call me back but haven't yet. It's been a week.... I would greatly appreciate help getting my radio code.
