Hi I have a little bit of a unique situation.

Have a 2002 911 carrera as part of an estate sale purchase (garage find). Trying to get her up and running.

I have the serial number from the cr-220 radio but the numbers on the screen above the "number 8" button are not working on the lcd screen.

So..here is the serial number I have but missing 1 number.

150008_7

Possible to figure this out or will 10 codes be needed to get it unlocked?

Thanks

Chris

Not unless you remove the radio and the sticker matches (stickers do not always match as they are not changed after a repair).

You will need radio keys to remove the radio - usually about $5 on ebay.

Hey Renntech gang…

I recently bought a 2001 996TT and while working on it today, disconnected the battery.  When getting back up and running, the PCM1 asked for the PCM code, which I have from the original card.

I entered it, and then it asked for a NAV System code…

I tried the same code, but no luck.

Any suggestions?

SERIAL is SL0804 1 0126476

CODE 5301

Is there another card for the second code?  The PO sent me a shot of some of the cards… sorry the pic is not very good….

Thanks,

Jon

From the Lost Radio Code FAQ...

"Can you give me a code for my PCM?
These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code, and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested.
Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."

Thanks Loren.  I did read the FAQ so sorry for asking anyway.  Was the NAV code on a card like the radio when bought originally?  What does OPC mean?

I am calling dealer today but trying to avoid paying for something like this....

Thanks,

Jon

OPC = Official Porsche Center

In the US that would be your Porsche dealer.
