I have a 2001 Porsche Boxster S with a CR 220 radio. I disconnected the battery to pull the seats for reupholstering. As you know, I lost the radio code and now have no music. The radio SN is Y5022900 and Type 4362. Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance!

It worked ... you are the best. I thought this would be a nightmare to fix and there you are. It is nice to see that there are still good people out there willing to help.

Thanks again

Thanks! - I tried but no luck with 0647. Any other suggestions?

Did you get the serial number through the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ?

If you did not, then please use that procedure to get the correct serial number.

If you did and the serial number you gave me is correct then your radio was likely repaired by someone other than Becker and I can not help you.

My apologies! I sent the wrong serial number initially - the last number is 8 and not 0. The radio serial number is Y5022908 type 4362.

I have a 99 Porsche Boxster. I just bought it, the radio didn’t work, I found a blown fuse, replaced it, and now I need a code. I called a dealership and they gave me a code 9025 per my VIN and that didn’t work. Guess it has been changed because I have a sticker on the top of my radio that says “original replacement part” Becker of North America. The only number I can find is stamped on the side.
BE4462W5011297 does that mean anything? Also how will I find this info again if some answers on here? If not my email is heathmcgaha@yahoo.com just in case.
