Trying to keep the 996.2 Bose system with Becker radio and the 2nd hand replacement unit came without codes.

I found that number written on the paper option tag on underside of the bonnet.  I did try it but it didn't work.  Do you have to hit enter after.

No.

If the code I gave you did not work then chances are that your radio was repaired by someone other than Becker. If that is the case then I can not help you... sorry.

Hmm... didn't read the Lost Radio Code FAQ...

 

CDR-23 (or later):
These radios do not have a security code - that is, not that the user enters.
