actually codes were correct,had them all along,but in my case.......after entering the code i press "volume up" button.....and walah...it worked just for your info

Thanks Loren, but somehow the correct code came out as 9410. Appreciate your efforts though.

For the serial number that you gave me?

Did you check it through the display procedure?

I am not usually far off.

then 4947 - Nothing

and finally 4949 again and just got the "Wait".

Not sure it matters but the car is a 2002 Boxster S.

I really appreciate the help. Do you think it needs to go to the dealer?

Broke my 1999 C2 cab out of hibernation only to discover I do not have the radio code!

Any help would be most appreciated.

I should have read your instructions better! I tried 4951 which worked perfectly.
