I just purchased a 1999 Boxster and the radio has CODE across the display. I read your FAQs, and here is the information (and probably more) I believe you need to help with possible codes:

Model on radio face: CDR 220

Becker 1

Type 4462

Serial Number X5016554

1999 Boxster Ocean Blue/Savanna Beige

5 speed

I have an 02 Boxster S with an ignition problem that ran the battery down. Ignition was an ez fix, however do not have the proper radio code.

Type:CDR 220

Model:4462

Serial:15003740

If you could provide a code for this radio, it would save me a trip to the local dealership.

Thanks so much in advance for any help with this. Lost the code for my 1996 993 radio...CDR 210. Serial number is S5001108. Model number is BE 2262.
