Hi. I bought a CDR-220 and a CDR23 from a dismantler. I know that there's a way to decode the CDR-220 code, and I know that the CDR23 reads the code from the DME, but I have a 1997 986 Boxster which DME does not support this function. Can someone please provide me with the CDR-220 code and a way to turn off the CDR23 "PROTECT" function and disable the code circuit? Here is the information for both units:

CDR23:

Model No.: BE 6612

Serial No.: 45058572

Date of manufacture: 03/04

CDR-220:

Model No.: BE 4462

Serial No. 15075622

Date of manufacture: 13/01

Thanks in advance

You can not use the CDR-23 in a non-MOST (fiber optic) car. I do not know of any way to "bypass" the security code.

For your CDR-220

Ok, I did the all time bone head move and threw out the card that my radio code was written on by accident. No, not the original gray plastic card, I had written it on the back of a business card . . . .

It is a CDR220, SN Y5047779

I believe that it was something like 4869 . . .

any help is greatly appreciated!
