Hi, I hope someone can help. I just had my car painted and they disconnected the battery and now I have lost the radio code. this is the info I have found. I'm not sure how to go about getting it. Any help would be appreciated.

If those don't work and you have access to a DME reader, I believe it's listed under Vehicle Data

- Old Blevins

Sometimes it is listed in the DME Vehicle Data - but frankly not very often.

Of the half dozen or so times I've looked to see if the factory or dealer put it in - only twice has it been there.

I have a 2000 Boxster S with the radio locked up due to a dead battery. Called the Porsche dealer but he will not give out the code without taking the car in.

Neither of those codes worked, but 6404 did, so I'm back in business! Thanks a lot. I appreciate the help.

IMHO it would be really useful if some of you guys could reply with which code Loren suggests actually works. It might help make more accurate predictions. Just my 2 cents worth.

Hi guys! Really need help here....

I bought a replacement CDR24 radio from Ebay & after installing into my 2007 Cayman, it shows 'PORSCHE' follow by 'PROTECT'.

Is there anyway to get it to work???

Radio model : 6645

Serial No. : 65046091

Axxession No. : 0431786

Security code : 9287 or 9265

Hope the experts here can help!

Thanks

Wilson
