My first Porsche and first repair. Ordered CD repair manual but will be a week. Lost power steering and found a 1/8th inch by about 1.5 foot long broken round belt under car. Is this the kind of belt that would be on a steering pulley? Can an online vendor to purchase be recommended? TY.

TY for the reply millerchris85 and admin Loren. 2004 cayenne turbo. Main belt in front gone. Found the tutorial to replace belt. Bought a multi V  belt made by Continental OE Tech Series. Computer says belt compatible and looks right but was called an accessory belt not main drive belt. Trying to cross reference part numbers. Number on the belt I have is D4071161. Going to attempt today to replace (12/11/19) so will find out.

Would like advice for the future to confirm cross referencing part numbers. Thanks again for the reply.
