Odd happening with this LCD display lights. Long story short, had the original (3) 1.5v beige bulbs replaced by leds in Blue, after 8 yrs decided to go back to beige bulbs and now they don't illuminate. I checked B1 and E1 fuses are ok. The Car has all LED lights except all instrument cluster and A/C panel. What else to consider?  1999 Carrera 2 STD

Thanks for share. B10 fuse is Ok. I suspect the instrument cluster board problem. Still no idea. Other instrument cluster lights working fine.

I was using it with LEDS for 8 yrs. No single issue. I just got bored of the blue light then went to original, now doesn't work. I start thinking in a short inside the instrument cluster. 😞

Put the LED bulbs back in and test to see if it works like it has for 8 years.  If it does, then it is probably (as said) the mix of standard and LED bulbs that makes it not work.

The LCD lights that backlight the odometer and temperature do not work on my 1999 Porsche Boxster.  I changed to new light bulbs and they still don't work.  Before dismantling the cluster and analyzing the circuit board I want to test to see if the lights are getting power.  Does anyone know which harness and pins provide power to these 2 lights?

I sent my cluster to EZELECTRONICS they diagnosed an internal problem on the circuit board.
