Hello Friends ,

Can one somehow generate from the identification number Boxster 986 Bj. 97?

Needs the code for new keys Porsche does not push them out.

Or maybe someone knows someone who could get them?

Thanks and best regards

OK, I've bought a new alarm control unit, I had the remote controls failed Transponder have worked, Boxster could be started, I have sent the keys to repair and the control unit to read the key codes.

Unfortunately, the controller came back and was no longer recognized although windows, lowering when open everything works but control unit was not found in Piwis2 and a start of the Boxsters was not possible.

So I had to buy a new alarm control unit, I also bought a new remote control, built-in control unit, battery connected, Piwis connected, I had learned IPAS codes to learn, learning code and immobilizer code ... this I enter, control unit connects to the DME .... I could teach the transmitter, but I get the error no signal to 86s (fuses OK) and transponders can not be taught, it comes error 2F 21 86 key not in the ignition.

Signal converter at the ignition I have already exchanged

It is the oldest version I16, I believe was built only one year, Piwis protocol found that on the new controller is also a newer software.

Has anyone ever had an idea or problem?

Best regards and thanks for Help

What I did was to take the old immo out.

Read the eprom with an eprom reader (desolder it is the best but make sure you don¨t desolder all the little diods and capacitors around it, take picture so you know how the little bugs go back, especially the diods)

Save eprom dump file

Use abrites and FVDI interface

Get key with megamos 48 chip

Learn key and use the dump file when asked for ipas code (3 bytes, 6 digits)

Learn remote, here you need the 12 byte code for the key

Done.
