Hi all,

I know there are tons of questions/answers out there on this topic, but just had my '03 in the shop for some maintenance, and ran into an issue I hadn't seen on other posts.

I bought/installed the MR12Volt bluetooth adapter that ties into the MOST ring prior to visiting the Indy Porsche shop I have do maintenance.  I have the Bose system with CDR23 head unit and fiber connected amp.  No issues with that setup.  Pretty slick plug and play.  Radio kept communicating, etc.

However, the tech ran into a problem with enabling the CD changer option on the radio, and couldn't get that set up.  He thinks its the radio itself.

Anyone ran into this?  Do I need to take it over to a dealership service department to take a look at??

Thanks,

I have only just discovered the availability of the Mr12Volt device, so apologies for asking this question 3+ years after you posted this comment, but did you have any joy enabling the CD changer option? I’d like to do exactly the same.
Thanks in advance! 🙂

I need to get my Cdr23 CD multichanger enabled. Did you have any luck getting it done?

Did you connect the correct fiber optic cable?

They are different depending on whether you have the amp or not.

After all the cables are connected you will need a PIWIS (or Durametric) to adopt the CDR-3 to your car.
