Trying to replace my front rotors on my 2004 TT.  I can't seem to remove the bracket.  I first took the screw off, but it wouldn't move. I next took off the nut, still couldn't get it off.  I tried prying it off with a screwdriver between the bracket and housing.  Without a lift I can't get a good look.  Is there anything else?  Any tricks?  Thanks

I'm trying to replace my front discs and have come across the same problem, I've removed both the nut and bolt from the bracket for the brake line and abs/brake pad sensor, but cannot remove the bracket from the hub??

Does the sensor harness come off the bracket first, does it slide up off the threaded rod? or does the bracket come off as a whole. Is the bracket connected to the hub by another means that I cannot see?

I've read all the workshop manuals and they just say remove nut and then remove bracket.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The bracket is probably just rusted in place, give it a wack and it should come loose.
