Can anyone tell me the M490 amplifier's input pin assignment on the 18 pin input jack? I like to use this amp on another audio source and it is not going in a Porsche. I need to identify each pin at the input jack of the amplifier.

Loren, I was able to get this diagram online but unfortunately I don't have the jack for this terminal with the wires to identify the pins according to the colors of wires.  The input jack has two rows of pins, 9 in each row(total of 18 pins). I was hopping some one could tell me what color wire is to each pin. I was able to buy the speaker side jack and not the input side jack with the wires.

Huh... the wire color code is on each line shown here.

i.e.  YEL/RE = Yellow with a red stripe

I don't have the jack going to the 18 pin socket so I don't know what color wire is to each pin. I am talking about the black socket on the right side of speaker/power socket. As I remember, that takes a pigtail jack which I don't have any more.

Look at the schematic again - the plugs are labeled I/7 -- that means socket 1 pin 7. You will also see II/14 which means socket 2 pin 14.

You likely want the ones labeled as socket 1 (I/1 to 18).

Yes, I got it. Thank you so much.

One more thing, there is no starting number on any of the pins in the socket. Can you guess which is the number 1 and which is the number 18?
