else who would know. I am going to order the PSE for my non S 997, and would like to know if I can install the mufflers, without the on/off switch, and if so, do I need to do anything special, or is the default always on. I know it can be done on the 996, and I would assume, it can on the 997, but I want to be sure. Thanks.

It appears to be very similar to the 996 system. The exception is that the control signal is taken from the DME rather that the speedometer. The install TSB does not say for sure but it would appear that the mufflers are very similar to the 996 PSE and default to always open.

Do you know of any way that I can verify?

Thanks
