So via blink codes I found said dtc. Idle is at around 1k rpm. Unplug connector idle drops.

Going blind into this. Don’t have a scanner or diagrams. Car had aftermarket air filter and MAF. and a harness spliced into red pin of connector. Connector has 2 pins. (I see people talk about a 3 pin connector?). I installed stock air box and removed/repaired red wire. So my questions are A. To check my wires I’d like to resistance check them. Are they direct to DME? Anyone have a picture of pinouts? B. Any chance by removing the maf. It needs to be relearned even tho it throws a short circuit. C. Can I perform a iac learn without diag. Scanner?

Thanks for any input.

So I was wrong with my fault code ...code 22 was set..not present dtc..I checked my iacv valve via drive links-ok..bench tested ok..checked wiring from dme to valve ok...idle still at around 1050/1100.. my actual valve for iacv seems to sit at around 55%..any input would be helpful...Im wondering if my car has a aftermarket chip in it causing high idle..
