2000 2.7 Boxster w 150K miles.  I have some sort of coolant leak. Its coming from a drain tube located by the rear passenger side.  Any idea where this drain tube leads to?   The tank in the rear trunk looks fine. The cap and pressure relief valve are fairly new. Please see attached photo.

Here's a better picture and I circled the drain pipe.  Just forgot to rotate it so the pipe is pointing downward.

Are you sure it's not condensation from your air conditioning?

I suggest you catch some drips. As I'm sure you know, coolant has a distinct smell to it.

I'd hazard a guess at the coolant reservoir overflow hose.

What's the last two digits of the part number embossed on the cap which screws on to your coolant reservoir in the rear trunk?

Yes.

 

Of course, West Germany ceased to exist quite a few years ago!!

 

I'd get a proper cap from Porsche ... with the last two digits of its part number being 04. They're not expensive.
