I have a 2000, clean title, cal car, 6 speed, runs and drives great, every option works, cab, no smoke, engine runs strong, good oil pressure, coolant lines forming milky substance.  I;m in it to deep to fix, want to sell it to someone, or find a used good running engine for good price and do an engine swap....car is very clean, no dents, no rust....newer top with glass rear window...all original owner books and complete 120,000 mile big service.

First off, drain all of the coolant and flush the system with water and Dawn liquid soap.  All the coolant hoses will deteriorate rapidly with oil in them, and replacing all the coolant hoses is a massively expensive job.  Second, why not try to determine the intermix problem?  Could be a bad AOS or oil cooler O-ring problem, not necessarily a total disaster.  You say you are in too deep to attempt to fix, but you are willing to buy a good used engine and do an engine swap?  I think maybe you should  consider talking to a knowledgeable Porsche mechanic or Indy about the intermix problem, establish a plan for why that is, perform some checks and tests, and then determine if the engine has failed (d-chunked) or just some component that has failed.

How long has the car been sitting with intermix? Have tried to drive it in this condition?

You need to seriously rethink this.  Regardless of the year or condition of the car, you have what is known as a "roller", or a car with a dead or questionable engine.  As such, it has scrap metal value associated with it.  As others have mentioned, your issue may not be fatal, but only diagnostics are going to determine that.  Good luck...……..

The cause of the intermix can be several things but the MY2000 is known to be susceptible to cracked heads. If everything else is good and the coolant hoses are flushed, you can probably get the car back on the road for about $3k. The heads can be repaired.

Thanks so much for the responses.  I got it checked out. My mechanic suggested used or rebuilt heads. Oil changed and after 1/2 hour running no smoke, cloudy oil or overheating

So basically what you're saying is that you noticed the problem, had a mechanic examine more closely and determined that the intermix was because of a cracked head? Now, you've decided to sell it instead of head repair? Have you cleaned the coolant system of the damaging oil/coolant intermix?
