I am missing the shift knob insert to my Boxster S 6 speed and cannot find a replacement anywhere without having to buy a whole new shifter... Does anyone

have one they would like to donate or sale? Or does anyone have any ideas on how to get one. Its just the insert that fits on top of the shifter Reverse through 6th...

Or does anyone have any ideas on how to make one? I am at a loss and it looks raty without the insert.....

Thanks in Advance!

I find it difficult to think that a suitable replacement can’t be found. I mean, there’s gotta be a bent shifter out there somewhere. Or just the knob.

However, you could use plastic wrap and stretch form it into the space where the insert goes, then use some bondo to fill the space and form as best as possible, sand, seal, silk screen, etc. Yardda, yadda. It would be a bit of work, and a little messy.

. . . or, you could pay ‘da man.
