Planning on buyin a new 911 GTS

Hello Everyone,

 

I’m new to this forum and need some advice with 911 GTS options. Looking to build one but with all the options available I want to know what are the must haves and for resell if I decide to sell in the near future. Do any of you have the rear wheel steering and if it makes a huge difference. Also, I have had sunroof on all the vehicles I ever owned but never used it and want to know if it’s something I should get in the GTS. If so, should I do the glass? Thank you all for all the help. Getting a new 991.2 GTS now is going to be very-very hard to find. Most build allocations are gone, and Porsche is getting ready to tool-up for the pending 992.

 

Drive a 991.2 with RWS and one without RWS. Then decide what is best for you.

 

As for the sunroofs, look at each one, and decide. The interplay with your car color may also be a factor you consider.

Oh, one more thing, you could also consider buying/building a 991.2 and add the PowerKit. This may give you more flexibility, and an available open build allocation.

 

I did this back in 2014, since the GTS was not released yet, and I wanted the extra 30 HP of the PowerKit. It was expensive, thought, at about $18,600. The 991.2 PowerKit is about 1/2 that price.
