Turn key no dash lights

The battery went flat on my 2008 Cayenne Turbo, replaced the battery and now when i turn the key i have no dash/ignition/engine lights.

The heater fan works, the turn signals work, steering tilt works, adjustable suspension works.

Wipers don't work, heated seats don't work and engine will not turn over.

I've checked all the usual but maybe missed something, any help would be great.

Check fuse 40 (Fuse support left ) with an ohm meter.

Checked 40 and the fuse was good.

What else does not work?

Headlights, brake lights, radio? etc.

Headlights work, radio works but no sound, brake lights work, interior lights work, wipers do not work but washers do.

A stab in the dark, but does your vehicle have an auxilliary battery for cranking the engine and, if so, have you checked that?

That's in the back by the spare wheel right?

In the vicinity of your battery, you should have a reset switch - small black rectangular box with a yellow button on top.

 

If you have ... and before pressing it, you might want to Google to establish whether it could be related to your problem.

I removed the cover off the side of the battery box where all the wires join and i see no reset switch, just some large fuses and a relay.

It was fuse 26 missing!?!?

It's the girlfriends car and we are still trying to figure out how it could be "missing".

I did, as I said it was fuse 26 on the left side.

Cayenne in the garage for some time trying to start no instrument light no ignition,  the key  lock in. Jumper  the car,  instruments dash board radio everything on.  Turn the key no dash board  and everything out

Possible bad electrical section of ignition switch.
