View 2004 4.5 Turbo - Odd engine noise - Serious?

Hi all,

Never considered a Porsche before but find myself attracted to the Cayenne Turbo. I viewed one today with impeccable history that had been remapped to 560bhp that has 103k miles on it.

There was a noise coming from the passenger side bank (on a RHD car), when I would have expected them to sound the same. It was still there after the drive but much less.

It was enough for me to prevent me making an offer, so I would appreciate any assistance on the attached clip, as to whether it seems serious, especially the clank noise I heard!??

It sounds normal to me.  Injector noise if I had to guess.  The injectors have the orange plastic bits on the intake manifold.

Thanks I'm not sure myself as its noticeably different on one side of the engine to the other ( not one side of the bank to the other as in the video ), more clack.

I didn't go for this vehicle, but did buy a 2006 Turbo S today, felt a much better vehicle all round!
